Monday was my work place charity bake sale. I made posters for the kitchens, bought paper plates and napkins and was fully prepared. I was also preparing myself for a flop.
There are some amazing people working in our offices and one lovely girl, gave me £10 for 1 cake to do her bit and another guy who has already donated £50 to my justgiving page gave me another £5 and didn't eat anything!
It is true that every penny counts and I was happy for everything I made. Generally people were very supportive and over the two days that cake was available I made £65! Not bad for an afternoons baking work. It is also true that the chippie's cakes were way more popular than mine and Abby's! Real men bake.com!
